Property all risks insures buildings, plant, stock and contents against sudden and accidental physical loss or damage from any cause the policy does not exclude, rather than from a list of perils named one by one.
It gives wider protection than fire and allied perils and suits businesses whose exposure is hard to list exhaustively - multi-site operations, warehousing, manufacturing. In the Kingdom it is usually extended to sabotage, terrorism and political violence, which the base wording excludes, and paired with business interruption.
